Michelle Naden, PhD
Licensed Family Therapist

Michelle loves her work with couples and adults who are struggling with transitions. She has come to especially appreciate the challenges young people face in our culture and a significant part of her practice is with teens. She finds these young people to be inspiring of hope and creativity.  Michelle describes her work as oriented to those conversations that honor and dignify people's personal knowledges.

Michelle has been practicing therapy for over twenty-five years in community agency, academic, and private practice settings. She has expertise in helping to support families dealing with medical issues. She is an educator in family therapy and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor for experienced and beginning family therapists.  Currently she is directing introductory and advanced tracks in Narrative therapy training.

Michelle and her partner, Kurt, work together with couples, teaching family therapy, and consulting with organizations.
